| VARATHRON is a legendary occult black metal band from Greece since 1988, and is considered as one of the forefathers of the genre, next to Rotting Christ and Necromantia. VARATHON released six full length albums up till now. The Lament of Gods mini CD was initially released in 1999 and is by now long time sold out. As bonus the Sarmutius Pegorus' demo from 1997 is added, 8 tracks in total. Pure Hellenic Black Metal as only the 3 leading Greek bands can deliver (Rotting Christ, Necromantia and Varathron).
