| Brighton based ANACONDAS formed back in 2010 from the ashes of acclaimed English band Johnny Truant who had blazed their way through the noughties with their frenetic, forward-thinking take on modern metallic hardcore.
During the final breaths of Truant, Stuart Hunter (guitars) initially conceived a much more stripped down, instrumental based project; dense and progressively sludge driven, balancing immense heaviness and delicate melody in equal measure. Re-united with brother and co ex truant James Hunter (bass) and with mutual friend Tim Newman on drums, the project became a fully realised band with all three now sharing vocal duties in barbarous harmony.
