Hayao Miyazaki writes and directs this Japanese anime featuring the voice talents of Luca Padovan, Robert Pattinson and Florence Pugh. Mahito Maki (voice of Padovan) lives with his father Shoichi (Christian Bale) and his pregnant wife Natsuko (Gemma Chan), the sister of Mahito's late mother Hisako (also Chan) who perished in a hospital fire.
