In late 2006, ex-CATARACT founding member and main songwriter Simon Fullemann started a new project named ARMA GATHAS. After a gruelling two-year search for the right musicians to complement his artistic vision, he hooked up with scene icon Che Snelting, former singer and frontman for Dutch institution BORN FROM PAIN. The line-up was completed by MACHINEMADE GOD guitarist Marc Niedersberg, 20-year old drum talent Max van Winkelhof and bassist Alex "Lahnsteiner" Hartel.
