Nareszcie Liam Gallagher (głos Oasis) ogłosił, że jego nowy zespoł Beady Eye na muzycznym roku debiutuje 28 lutego 2011 r. płytą "Different Gear, Still Speeding". Na albumie znalazło się 13 kompozycji zarejestrowanych jesienią 2010 roku pod czujnym producenckim okiem Steve'a Lillywhite'a (U2, 30 Seconds To Mars, Travis). W nowopowstałej formacji Liamowi towarzyszą byli koledzy z Oasis: Gem Archer i Andy Bell, a także perkusista Chris Sharrock. Ich pierwszy utwor "Bring The Light" na stronie internetowej zespołu odsłuchano ponad 350 tysięcy razy w ciągu pierwszej doby, a bilety na ogloszona pod koniec listopada trasę sprzedały się w ciągu 30 minut!
