| Ellipsis is the upcoming seventh studio album by Scottish alternative rock band Biffy Clyro. It is being produced by Rich Costey and is due to be released on 8 July 2016. In January 2016, the band discussed the album again with NME, calling it the "best record we've made". The recording location was confirmed as being Eldorado Recording Studios in Los Angeles, California. They also named filmmaker John Waters and hip-hop artist A$AP Rocky as influential to the sound of the new music.
