Folk metal progenitors, Cruachan, are set to release their latest album "Nine Years of Blood". This album brings to a close their "Trilogy of Blood" which began with 2011's "Blood on the Black Robe". "Nine Years of Blood" is a concept album detailing the epic war fought between Ireland and England from 1593 to 1603. Ireland lost the war but came so very close to victory. All of this - the heroes and villains on both sides, the battles won and lost - will be told with the most epic soundtrack: Bombastic Orchestral sections, Blistering Black Metal passages, Thrash Metal, Heavy Metal and of course, lots of FOLK METAL!
