Since the early 80's (!) this speed commando with their bandleader and guitarist John Ricci defines heaviness, speed and power - there are no signs of resignation even in 2008! Starting together with nowadays heroes like SLAYER and METALLICA in the year 1983 the Exciter debut "Heavy Metal Maniac" was released - one of metal's all time classics. Which Exciter-maniac does not remember well the following albums like the timeless milestone of aggression called "Violence of Force", the rhythmic headbanger "Long live the loud". As other band got massive media attention like Metallica, Slayer, Anthrax or Overkill in the mid 80's and were able to fill stadiums Exciter would remain a special tip for fans and real metallers.
