American Woman is the sixth and most succesful studio album by Canadian rock band The Guess Who. It is the last album which features lead guitarist Randy Bachman. He brings some of the best guitar riffs the band has ever recorded, especially on the hit single "American Woman", later successfully covered by Lenny Kravitz. The times of war (Vietnam) are prominent on the album and their anger can be heard in songs like "No Time" and "No Sugar Tonight".
