American documentary centred on the life and career of rock musician Joan Jett. Having initially launched into the music world to a negative reception from her predominantly male peers, Joan took it upon herself to fight opposition and criticism and fulfil her aspirations. After forming all-female band The Runaways, Joan was propelled into fame with hit singles such as 'Cherry Bomb' and 'Bad Reputation'.
