Court and Spark is often regarded as the most accessible and commercially appealing album from legendary Canadian singer/songwriter Joni Mitchell. A fusion of folk, pop, and jazz Court and Spark is a concept album which explores the roles of honesty and trust in relationships. It includes the hit "Free Man in Paris," written about David Geffen as a not-so-subtle dig at the music industry, and also Mitchell's only single to enter the top 10 Billboard charts, "Help Me".
