| One of the most notorious and now controversial black metal entities to ever set foot upon this cursed genre over the last ten or so years, LEVIATHAN (and its sole commander Wrest, aka famed tattoo artist Jef Whitehead) has been seen as one of the genre's most creative and prolific artists. Emerging from the depths of the Bay Area in the early moments of last decade by releasing a slew of demo tapes (which would then culminate in the infamous "Verrater" compilation), LEVIATHAN would eventually gain recognition on a more wide scale with the "Ten Sublevel Of Suicide" debut. Said album was praised as one of the most "transcendental" black metal albums ever recorded for its time and from there LEVIATHAN would be known as one of the most in-demand artists within the black metal scene today.
