The band was formed in Erfurt back in 1985 and was one of the first metal bands in the former DDR. There was already a metal scene growing there and the band played there first shows as a quartet with singer Wittenburg joining the band later. The singer should become a charismatic trademark and a big part of the bands success. The band toued exetensively and was becoming more and more a problem for the government. When the band played a show in Erfurt in 1986 the event was more than packed and the crowd went crazy and wild. When the DDR fell to pieces in 1989 the bassist and drummer left for West Germany.
