Punk rock's (maybe even the entire genre of rock's) most beloved cover band, Me First and the Gimme Gimmes need no introduction. Since their formation back in the mid-90's, they've made their availability to play weddings and Bar Mitzvahs no secret. Weddings are simple, and that was scratched off the list early. Landing a Bar Mitzvah is a different story. The band was sure to announce their availability at every public appearance, and in every interview. It paid off and the call out to perform at a Bar Mitzvah was answered before long.
