The debut album from the greatest Pagan/folk metal band of all time: Moonsorrow. Pressed on vinyl as a standalone release for the first time in history by cult Finnish label - Blood Music.
This album set the stage for what has become a long and impressive rule in the folk metal world. This album was pressed and presented as part of the Moonsorrow "Heritage" 14xLP Box Set - at the time the largest metal box set in history - which sold out in pre-orders and got coverage on every major metal blog out there.
There were originally only four releases made available outside the box set, utilizing the brand new vinyl masters, which have been considered superior to the CD release by everyone involved. [...more...]
