Dr Frank Sangster (Steve Martin) is a dentist with a successful practice, a luxurious home and a beautiful girlfriend (Laura Dern). In fact, he seems to have everything that anyone could ever wish for. But when he receives a visit from a seductive new client (Helena Bonham Carter), the good doctor soon finds himself lost in underground world of sex, drugs and violence.
