"Personally, The Big Black' is still my favourite Orange Goblin record. Written at a time when the band had first started to tour abroad and see the world, I think the variation and song-writing on this record make it an essential for any Orange Goblin fan. We got to work with producer Billy Anderson for the first time after being blown away by his previous work with Neurosis, Sleep and numerous others. I honestly think we could play every track from this album in a live environment and nothing would be out of place.
