| Futuristic black metal may be a trite header to peg this Italian duo with, but it sums up what they are all about concisely. Progenie Terrestre Pura burst their way out of the Italian Black Metal underground with the follow up to their 2011 demo - U.M.A.
Sweeping from the ambient soundscapes that open the album through the mysteriously whispy vocals and into the guts of the music, it is easy to forgive a listener for asking "is this black metal".
