| Resurrection was formed in 1990 in Tampa, Florida. The band quickly entered Morrisound studios under direction of Scott Burns and produced a 4 song demo. This demo was used by the band strictly for promotion and was sent to hundreds of magazines, fanzines, metal radio shows, and record labels. This plan worked and Resurrection was getting press in the metal scene far and wide. The demo along with the influx of press garnered the attention of Nuclear Blast Records founder Markus Staiger.
