| Welsh band, Godsticks, self-styled purveyors of progressive rock/pop, release their much anticipated debut album Spiral Vendetta'. Following the release of their highly acclaimed EP in 2009, Godsticks have caused a bit of a stir on the progressive rock scene: being notoriously difficult to pigeon-hole, and one of the few new bands who can claim to possess their very own style and sound. Initially a cover band performing complex progressive music, Godsticks began to immerse themselves in writing new material and developing their own unique song formats - borne out of a desire to create song arrangements they wanted to hear, but that were never present in the music of their influences.

Whether it's the unmistakable tone of Darran Charles' voice, the growl of Jason Marsh's fretless bass, or the complex grooving of Steve Roberts on drums - Godsticks are an innovative force and definitely a band to watch over the coming years. Spiral Vendetta' is the culmination of 16 months of writing, 4 months of rehearsal, and 3 months in the studio working with veteran producer Joe Gibb (Mighty Atom Studios). Featuring 10 powerful, unique, and eclectic songs, Darran Charles (Vocals, guitars, keys), Steve Roberts (Drums), and the bass of Bryan Beller (Steve Vai, Mike Keneally) have produced a mesmerising' album that " has it all in spades with chops, emotion, musicality and imagination.
