| Original Stretch founders, vocalist/guitarist Elmer Gantry and guitarist Kirby, are reunited four musical decades later, unleashing some steaming, no-nonsense, hard-biting new rock recordings. Stretch was one of the most powerful bands on the 1970s rock circuit and a popular 'live' attraction. 36 years after their debut LP, they are back and sounding better than ever on this new album.
The 11 tracks - including a new version of their massive smash hit 'Why Did You Do It', and 'Flames', first recorded by Elmer Gantry's Velvet Opera - are lined up alongside hot cover versions of blues classics, such as 'Hoochie Coochie Man' and 'I Just Wanna Make Love To You'. ----- więcej -----
Stretch make a long awaited come back with their first new album in 34 years, appropriately called 'Unfinished Business'. Explains lead singer Elmer Gantry: "The original Stretch imploded back in 1977. Now we're back together and we're very pleased with our new album. We've picked our favourite numbers from way back, including some I did in my very first band in 1962."
