Originally released in 1965 as a live in-church session, this reissue of Freedom Highway includes two of the original LP tracks supplemented by some truly spirited late -'60s Epic recordings.The Staple Singers, Cleotha Harris, Mavis Staples, Pervis Staples, and Yvonne Staples recorded a beautiful album with songs like "When The Saints Go Marching In", "Help me Jesus", and "We Shall Overcome".
