2015 will see the release of "The Tracks We Leave", which has a dynamic range of big electric guitars against acoustic instruments, and some of the strongest vocal combinations and harmonies Tempest have ever recorded. Since forming in 1988, Tempest has delivered a globally-renowned hybrid of high-energy Celtic Rock fusing Irish reels, Scottish ballads, Norwegian influences and many other world music elements. Tempest are inspired by a Sioux Dakota proverb on the title track, which has a triple meaning of the environmental and the spiritual tracks we leave upon the world we live in, as well as the band tracking the album in the studio.
