| The Chieftains to irlandzka grupa założona w 1962 roku. Zespół nagrał wiele albumów z irlandzką muzyką folkową, łącząc w sobie elementy celtyckie, rock and rollowe a nawet country.
W 2012 roku zespół obchodzi swoje 50-lecie i z tej okazji powstał album Voice of Ages, będący efektem współpracy z artystami pop i rock współczesnej sceny muzycznej. Na albumie znalazły się nagrania The Cheftains wykonywane wspólnie z takimi artystami jak: Imelda May, Lisa Hannigan, The Civil Wars, Bon Iver, Carlos Nunez czy Paolo Nutini.
Wersja Deluxe zawiera także DVD dla fanów z materiałami dodatkowymi.
