| Zespół tworzą niezmiennie Dolores O'Riordan, Noel Hogan, Mike Hogan oraz Fergal Lawler, których kariera rozpoczęła się w 1989 roku w rodzinnym mieście Limerick w Irlandii. W latach 90-tych grupa The Cranberries sprzedała ponad trzydzieści milionów płyt i zdobyła czołową pozycję wśród zespołów rockowych. Produkcją albumu "Roses" zajął się długoletni przyjaciel zespołu - Stephen Street, którego zamiarem był powrót do świeżości i oryginalności dwóch pierwszych płyt The Cranberries - "Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can't We?" oraz "No Need To Argue".
