'The Great Plains' is the 7th studio album of the Norwegian Singer- Songwriter Thomas Dybdahl. This time, he worked with producer Kĺre Vestrheim and songwriters Ingrid Helene Hĺvik (Highasakite),
Nina Nielsen, Řystein Greni, David Baerwald and David Poe. On the album Thomas plays with his band,
which consists of Nikolai Eilertsen (BIGBANG, Elephant9) on bass, Pĺl Hausken (In The Country, Monica
Heldal) on drums and Kĺre Vestrheim on guitars and keyboards.
The songs on this album are mostly about being in a place in life where you suddenly have time to look
in the mirror and into yourself, only to discover that you almost do not recognize the man looking back
at you.
