FINNISH DEATHSTERS RETURN WITH CHRIS BARNES ON VOCALS No one can say fun can't get serious! TORTURE KILLER - named after a SIX FEET UNDER song - began as a fun project in spring 2002, with the band members hanging out in their rehearsal room, drinking beer and covering their favorite SIX FEET UNDER and OBITUARY tracks. After just one local show they decided to start writing originals though, escaping the fate of a typical "weekend-alcohol-band" by delivering vicious death metal with a lethal groove. A lot has happened since the release of their debut "For Maggots To Devour" in 2002: the band signed to the metal giant Metal Blade Records and gained the services of SIX FEET UNDER front growler Chris Barnes to handle the vocals full time.
