Monument was Ultravox's first live document and was originally released in October 1983 as 6 track mini album and as a soundtrack to the 30 minute film of the Quartet tour released on VHS at the same time
Filmed and recorded over 4 nights in December 1982 at the Hammersmith Odeon, the album originally reached no. 9 on the UK album chart and stayed there for 15 weeks. No singles were released from the album although a special fan club only flexi disc of "The Voice" was given away to fans and can be found as track 9 on CD 2 of the Quartet remaster.
This CD/DVD release features the original 6 track album remastered along with 2 tracks added for the CD release in 1996 and is now augmented by the previously unreleased "The Song (We Go)".
