| Supraphon Release Information A unique encounter, a unique record on a unique release. We're home now and The Residents have been friends since 1992 when they first met in San Francisco. Later, in 1995, they worked very closely together on Freak Show Live, with Uz Jsme Doma taking on the role of the Circus Freak band and Miroslav Wanek as musical director and conductor. Wanek also wrote the book "Eyeball to Eyeball", the most comprehensive collection of lyrics by The Residents. And so it came to pass that Randy from The Residents and Uz Jsme Doma prepared 13 songs by The Residents in special arrangements adapted for the Uz Jsme Doma lineup and sound. [...more...]
