Originally released in 1983, Mean Streak' was the last of a three album body blow that saw Y&T elevated to the status of metal royalty. This was the last time the band was to sound so uncompromising, the next album In Rock We Trust' was o signal the arrival of a new slicker, radio friendly sound. This was, however, a very fitting way to end those heard rocking days. Available here for the first time on CD in Europe in a digitally remastered form, now would be a good time to pick up on one of the best albums of the early 80's |
