After a two year hiatus and after the fallout of YOB mastermind Mike Schedit's ordeal with the lawsuit that befell him with his previous band Middian (which Schedit formed after disbanding YOB in 2006), forcing Schedit to end Middian in turn, it was inevitable that Schedit would resurrect YOB with a vengeance. Known as one of the most respected and heaviest bands in doom metal today, YOB are known to create some of the most gargantuan, monstrous, and epic sounds in doom metal respectively. Along with the legendary band SLEEP, YOB were always considered the heaviest doom metal three-piece ever and already have quite the massive repertoire at their disposal.
