Emerging from the mid-seventies New York punk rock movement, Blondie's mix of punk ethos, glorious melodies and the iconic figure of Debbie Harry took them to global superstardom. In the UK they remain one of the most successful bands of all time. On February 10, 1999 the band took to the stage of New York's Town Hall for their first hometown gig in 17 years. Featuring original members Debbie Harry, Chris Stein, Jimmy Destri and Clem Burke, the band stormed through a set that went back to their earliest days, through tracks from their acclaimed comeback album "No Exit", and of course all the hits in between.
