Burning Plague's self-titled 1970 debut album provided a flashpoint for Belgium's burgeoning blues rock scene, ramping up the intensity so far at various points that it verged on heavy. It wasn't quite enough to make the band famous, but their ballsy blues rock played through massive 100-watt Marshall stacks has made the original LP a highly-coveted collector's item that now commands princely sums.
