St Louis' EVERYTHING WENT BLACK delivery their venomous debut of Black Flag meets Entombed punk / metal on new Prosthetic imprint, Lost Shepherd Recordings.
Hailing from the, at times, barren wasteland that is the St. Louis music scene, EVERYTHING WENT BLACK play a concise, sophisticated brand of fast and ultra heavy aggressive music drawing influence from the likes of Black Flag and Entombed.
Since forming in the Spring of 2009, the band self released a CDEP, a 7" entitled Altars & Arsonists' on Hands Up! Records and a split with Louisville punks Rattletooth. Plagued by a death in the band in 2011, Everything Went Black were charged with a new sense of purpose and direction when heading to the studio to record Cycles Of Light' their most balanced body and focused body of work which is their full length debut for Lost Shepherd Records, a new hardcore / punk imprint under the Prosthetic banner.
