| One of the greatest blues-rock guitarists of all time, Moore is on par with (and even surpassing at times) legends like Eric Clapton and Jimi Hendrix. Born in 1952 in Belfast, Moore got his first big break opening for Fleetwood Mac in the late sixties. Peter Green was so impressed that he helped Moore and his band get a recording contract, and became Moore's mentor over the years. In the decades to follow Moore played with everyone from Thin Lizzy, to Colosseum II to Greg Lake of ELP to Cozy Powell as well as continuing his solo career. But by the time Moore played the 1990 Montreux Jazz Festival, he had returned to his first love: the blues! Some men were born to play it and Gary Moore is definitely one of them. [...więcej...]
