| To nagranie live powstało w trakcie koncertów w Berlinie w 2003 r., a było to niedługo po tym, jak Simon Rattle zainaugurował Fidelio Salzburg Easter Festival, obejmując stanowisko dyrektora artystycznego imprezy. Sam Rattle mówił: "Beethoven mówi ci dokłakdnie gdzie jesteś, w każdym znaczeniu tego słowa - muzycznie, duchowo, rytmicznie, w kontekście wyobraźni".
