Sarah Blackwood grew up listening to her fathers rock and roll record collection. When she was 12 her father handed her a guitar, taught her the basics, and from there she has grown as a musician and an artist. Sarah has gained experience over the past year playing solo shows in Toronto, Canada (where she now lives), Western Canada and Europe. There are no antics and no special effects when it comes to her music and live show, just raw acoustic rock coming straight from the heart. Sarah Blackwood is a little gal with a haunting voice and plenty of stories to tell through her songs. Her music is influenced by old country, americana and and the roots of rock music.
