STUNNING 1981 SHOW FROM A NEWLY INSPIRED BANSHEES - ON LIMITED EDITION CLEAR VINYL! By the beginning of 1981, Siouxsie & The Banshees had released three albums to date, and were planning their fourth. Recorded at Surrey Sound studio, Juju was released on 19 June '81. Featuring new guitarist John McGeoch - formerly of Magazine - the album met with much critical acclaim, notably for McGeoch's un-orthodox playing and Siouxsie's ever-creative vocals. Later deemed a classic of post-punk, in 1995, Melody Maker writer Cathi Unsworth described Juju as "one of the most influential British albums ever".
