Unlike some of their fellow British Invaders who cut one cover-loaded album after another, The Zombies valued quality over quantity. Their enduring reputation as one of the era's most innovative groups rests with a select series of entrancing songscapes. Keyboardist Rod Argent, bassist Chris White, and vocalist Colin Blunstone delivered a manner far removed from their peers' rougher-edged blues-and-rockabilly-derived attacks. This album features only three tracks (with alternate mixes) that appear on the 2003 Varese Vintage CD The Zombies Featuring She's Not There And Tell Her No There is virtually no overlap between these two CDs, making this an essential release for Zombies fans.
